Registered Massage Therapy
A registered massage therapist has completed specialized training in anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to massage therapy practice. During an RMT session, the therapist will manipulate your body tissues through different massage techniques like myofascial release or deep tissue manipulation to alleviate muscle tension and promote relaxation. As part of their scope of practice, RMTs can assess and treat problems related to muscles and joints, perform orthopedic testing, and create personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
Overall, choosing an RMT could be a beneficial addition to your wellness plan when it comes to pain relief, recovering from minor injuries, and reducing stress levels!

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists work with patients to develop customized treatment plans that may include exercises, stretches, manual therapy, electrotherapy, IMS, medical acupuncture, or other techniques aimed at improving function and reducing pain. Our therapists take pride in providing personalized one-on-one treatment plans based on their patients' needs. Taking this extra time plays an important role in preventing further injuries by identifying potential issues before they become more serious. Our physiotherapists also include education on injury prevention and management in their treatment plans. By teaching patients how to avoid common injuries and providing strategies for managing pain and discomfort, they help patients maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while reducing their risk of future injuries. This may involve discussing proper posture or body mechanics during daily activities, recommending specific exercises to improve strength and flexibility, or providing guidance on the use of braces or other support devices.
Whether you are recovering from an injury or looking for ways to manage chronic pain, physiotherapy can help you regain your mobility and improve your quality of life.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps patients overcome barriers that limit their ability to engage in everyday activities. Occupational therapists collaborate with patients to identify goals and develop individualized strategies to improve occupational performance and quality of life. OT intervention can include assessment, provision of equipment or technology, modification of the environment, or task design aimed at improving physical, cognitive, or psychosocial function. As licensed professionals governed by regulatory bodies, OTs adhere to ethical standards for client care including privacy protection, and offer high-quality care across various settings for individuals with diverse mental health challenges ranging from psychiatric illnesses to disability injuries, etc.

Active Rehab (Kinesiology)
Kinesiology is the study of human movement and how it relates to our overall health and well-being. As patients, understanding kinesiology can be incredibly useful in managing or preventing injuries, improving athletic performance, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Kinesiologists use their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology, and neuroscience to evaluate movement patterns and help individuals improve their physical function. They work with patients to identify areas of weakness or dysfunction that may be contributing to pain or limited mobility. By providing education and using various therapeutic techniques such as exercise prescription, manual therapy, or modalities like heat/ice/electrotherapy they can work with patients who are recovering from an injury/surgery or have chronic conditions such as back pain/arthritis/scoliosis /stroke, etc., aiming at restoring/improving functional ability.
Naturopathic Medicine
It's all about finding and treating the real reasons you're sick, not just the symptoms.
Naturopathic doctors look at your whole health - your body, mind, and emotions and use natural treatments like herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle advice to help your body heal itself.
Naturopathic medicine is a special kind of healthcare that combines traditional healing methods with modern science.
